by Dean Myerson, ASGP Secretary The Association of State Green Parties (ASGP) was formed in late 1996, to help strengthen and create independent Green parties in the 50 states and the District of Columbia, and to prepare for the creation of a national Green Party in the US. The Association of State Green Parties (ASGP) is a national organization of Green Parties from across the United States. Currently, Green Parties in the following 15 states have affiliated with the ASGP: Arizona, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennesee, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming.
